Why Nano CBD?
All Pure Dharma products are infused with a broad-spectrum CBD, containing most of the plant’s original compounds, including phytocannabinoids. These compounds act synergistically with our bodies’ own endocannabinoid system to optimize vitality and well-being.
Nano CBD, or Nanoemulsions, are a relatively new innovation in cosmetics, yet a very effective method of transdermal delivery for topically applied skin care products. A combination of two non-miscible liquids, a nanoemulsion consists of an oily cannabinoid phase dispersed into an aqueous phase, forming droplets of nano-metric sizes that allows the tiny CBD oil particles to penetrate more effectively through the skin. Due to its structure, the nanoemulsion is able to carry both hydrophilic and hydrophobic active substances through the skin’s layers.
Pure Dharma’s nano-emulsions are made from broad-spectrum CBD oil and non-toxic plant-based emulsifiers and surfactants, using a high amplitude ultrasonic processing technique to shatter cannabinoid molecules into tiny nanoparticles reduced to over one-millionth of their original size.
