It’s only fitting that one of our favorite vegan ice cream brands, NadaMoo! debuts their first limited-edition flavor, Peppermint Bark to Whole Foods shelves nationwide!
Inspired by the foods and traditions that symbolize holiday cheer, Peppermint Bark is a nod to nostalgic holiday flavors with a dairy-free twist. This new seasonal dairy-free ice cream marks a significant milestone as the family-owned, Texas-based brand’s first limited-edition flavor. Made with NadaMoo!’s extra-creamy, organic coconut milk base, the magic of Peppermint Bark comes together when the base is swirled in chocolate fudge, and a flurry of peppermint pieces for texture and crunch to ensure every bite is full of holiday cheer.
Daniel Nicholson, president, and CEO, NadaMoo! says, “As the world evolves, we are able to be a lot more directly engaged with our consumer. We are able to make small batches of things with consumer feedback at our NadaMoo! Scoop shop [in Austin, Texas], to take the opportunity to take these items [like the limited Peppermint Bark flavor] and scale them up through limited edition, smaller batch, seasonal items. We’re happy to allow customers the advantage to venture outside of our usual, year-long, skews with unique flavors like this.”
NadaMoo! is made with a creamy coconut milk base that contains healthy fats and zero cholesterol. NadaMoo! also strives to source high-quality ingredients that require less water and land to produce, creating a positive impact on the environment, as well as the animals. Like their other flavors, the Peppermint Bark is Certified B-Corp, Gluten-Free, Vegan, and Non-GMO. NadaMoo! is also Certified Organic and uses Fair-Trade ingredients as much as possible.
Peppermint Bark will be available for purchase starting this month until Dec. 31 at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide, as well as select Fresh Thyme stores in Indiana; select Hy-Vee and The Fresh Market locations; select Walmart stores in Austin and Houston, Texas, Colorado and Wyoming; and independent grocery stores nationwide.
