For vegans in the United Kingdom looking for a quick cup of coffee and a snack, look no further than your nearest Starbucks.
From now through January 2nd, all Starbucks in the United Kingdom will be offering a new vegan wrap on their menus. This new wrap, called the Very Merry Vegan Wrap, is made using a beet-blended tortilla that’s stuffed with vegan ingredients like roasted red cabbage, squash fritters, and vegan maple mustard mayonnaise.
As a part of Starbucks’ Christmas menu for the United Kingdom, the wrap will be an addition to a list of other great vegan quick bites, such as the brand’s Vegan Roasted Veggie Salad, Vegan Mac (made with butternut squash sauce, spinach, and parsley crumble), and a Vegan Pistachio Slice dessert cake.
This launch of vegan Christmas menu items is a follow up on vegan offerings that have been made available in the past. During the Halloween season, all Starbucks across Europe offered a limited-edition vegan Phantom Frappuccino. While the United States has not yet seen a dedicated vegan menu item, stateside Starbucks locations offer a variety of plant-based milk to be used in beverages, such as almond milk, soymilk, and coconut milk.
