If you’re a vegan who enjoys grabbing an energy drink on your way to work every morning, you’re in luck. One of America’s most popular energy drink companies, Monster Energy, just introduced a new energy drink, and it’s vegan.
Earlier this week, Monster Energy Company shared that it is launching it’s newest energy drink under its coffee-based line called Java Monster. Monster’s new vegan energy drink, called Farmer’s Oats, is made using oat milk rather than cow’s milk and consists of an energy blend that’s 200 milligrams of caffeine strong.
In celebration of the brand’s new vegan product, Monster Energy Company will be hosting what it’s calling a “Vegan Brunchdown Launch Party”, where local restaurants will be invited to create vegan food options to eat with the new oat-based energy drink. On November 2nd, from 1 PM to 4 PM, the event will take place at Start Los Angeles in collaboration with Foodbeast, a media production company.
During the vegan “brunchdown”, local restaurants will come and prepare their best vegan dishes to be paired with the Farmer’s Oats drink. The food options will include a Vegan Classic breakfast sandwich made by Munchies DIner as well as a Vegan Breakfast Taco served up by LA’s Sugar Taco. In addition, some local restaurants will use the Monster’s new Farmer’s Oats drink as an ingredient to make inventive dishes, including Donut Friend’s JavaMonster Donut, Huglife’s affogato, and a special espresso drink to be prepared and served by media brand Foodbeast.
“The sheer amount of vegan alternatives available in 2019 allows for both passionate vegans and flexitarian consumers to eat and drink together like never before,” said Foodbeast CEO Geoff Kutnick. “Farmer’s Oats entrance into the marketplace couldn’t come at a better time.”
Monster’s new Java Monster Farmer’s Oats beverage is available in 15-ounce cans and contains a jolty 200 milligrams of caffeine.
