On the 29th, US customers who order a coffee drink with dairy-free milk can send a PayPal request to Silk, and they will cover the cost of the drink up to $5. This is an especially wonderful opportunity for those who have been wanting to try plant-based milk with their coffee but have been deterred by the extra cost.
Here’s hoping that coffee shops will wake up and smell the, well, coffee, and discontinue the upcharge on plant-based milks.
