We announced the premiere of the new Animal Planet show ‘Saved By the Barn’ a few weeks ago. Since then, it has grown to a viewership of over half a million people! This was a huge jump from their second week on air with close to 387,000 viewers!
This week’s episode is an especially important one for the SBTB team. It will feature two of their goats, Emmy and Hugo who were rescued from a small farm neglect case, a situation that is sadly all too common in the animal sanctuary world. The case of Emmy and Hugo will allow viewers to see the bad things that can happen to animals on farms, why they deserve better, and what happens when people like the staff of Barn Sanctuary care enough to treat these animals with the respect and compassion they deserve.

Watching Animal Planet 5/2 are you the farm SASHA? , near East Lansing? This is the first time I’ve seen this show, what a hoot.
