Stephanie Rice has partnered with vegan food company, PranaOn, owned by Gold Coast local and INBA Mr Universe winner, Billy Simmonds.
Plant-based diets are continuing to grow into Australian culture, with one in three people already eating vegetarian or actively reducing meat consumption. Teaming up with PranaOn, three-time Olympic gold medalist, Stephanie Rice, is the new ambassador for the Woolworths exclusive vegan product line called the “Lifestyle Range”.

The forecast for Australia’s plant-based food industry shows tremendous growth, with the CSIRO estimating the plant-based foods market to be worth more than $6 billion by 2030, positioning Australia as the third fastest growing vegan market in the world.

Stephanie Rice is among a growing trend of athletes promoting plant-based diets. Morgan Mitchel, another Olympian who is set to represent Australia in the 800 sprints at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, is also vegan.
