Today, Dr. Praeger’s is unveiling the Farm Stand Cauliflower Burger – a plant-based burger made exclusively with ingredients from local farms in the NY and NJ area.
During the peak of COVID-19 in the tri-state area, the family run company, based in northern New Jersey, saw farmers struggling. As a veggie focused brand, Dr. Praeger’s took action to support local farmers by creating this new product sourced exclusively with fresh produce from local farms (including Norwich Meadows Farm, Phillips Farm, etc.) and will also be donating 100% of proceeds of each Farm Stand Burger to the local farming community. Dr. Praeger’s is a plant-focused frozen food brand.
The family business started by two heart doctors has been a pioneer in the industry for over 25 years providing healthy meals with clean, recognizable ingredients and real vegetables.
They’re best known for the California Veggie Burger which is the top selling frozen veggie burger in Whole Foods and their meat-alternative Perfect Burger launched last summer.
They make vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, Kosher, vegetarian and fish options.
The Farm Stand Burger will be available beginning August 10 at Citarella and delivery via OurHarvest.com.
