Nom Burgers is a new vegan food truck in Austin serving Vegan Junk Food like griddle smashed cheeseburgers, “chicken” sandwiches, and a selection of fries, tots, fried pickles, asada fries, and other classic favorites. The food truck officially opened at The Vegan Nom Food Park on Cesar Chavez street on August 22nd and sold out by noon opening day. Nom Burgers serves an exciting 100% plant-based menu.
Owned and operated by Austin’s iconic food group, The Vegan Nom Foods LLC, Nom Burgers will also feature The Vegan Nom’s newly launched retail product, Planet Queso mix! The COVID-19 pandemic has presented many challenges for small business owners, but Chris continues to work hard to innovate in the vegan food industry.
“Nom Burgers is here to give you what you crave, help you reduce your impact on the planet while still fueling your passion for great tasting food at an affordable cost,” Chris says.
There’s something for everyone, vegan or not, at Nom Burgers, so stop by for a visit to say hello to the crew and grab a tasty meal. Online delivery and pickup orders will soon be available and every Tuesday, Nom Burgers will host a brown bag special complete with two burgers and two fries for $20. In the coming months, the food truck will also be announcing new burgers of the month featuring creative recipes by the Nom Burger team led by owner and chef, Chris Rios.
Nom Burgers is open Tuesday-Sunday (CLOSED Mondays) at 2324 E Cesar Chavez 78702 (next to Soma Vida in Vegan Nom Food Park).
