LogMeIn, a top provider of videoconferencing and remote collaboration technologies, and Sweet Farm, the first non-profit sanctuary in the world to address the global impacts of factory farming across animals, the plants, and the planet, have partnered together to help teach students about the environment and sustainability, even while many of them are stuck at home in remote learning classes.
The Sweet Farm Virtual Field Trip Contest will allow elementary school teachers and student’s family members anywhere in the country to nominate a class to win a virtual tour of the farm for the students, meet the animals and learn about sustainable living practices. Following the virtual field trip, the winning classes will also receive online gardening and cooking classes to teach students how to grow their own sustainable gardens and provide cooking tips they can use with their families.
