If you’re a podcast aficionado, here’s one to add to the list! Advocacy group, Animal Activism Mentorship– has launched a brand new podcast- The Animal Liberation Hour, to present enlightening conversations with creative revolutionaries who are changing the world for animals. “Our goal was to highlight people from different backgrounds and activism philosophies to inspire others to take action for animals in the way they see fit,” says AAM co-founder and podcast co-host Trey Morrow.
AAM recognizes that effective social justice advocacy comes in many shapes and forms. Some may feel called to protest outside fur farms, while others aspire to channel their entrepreneurial spirit into starting businesses that benefit animals and the planet. There is no single “right” way to make a difference for our fellow earthlings and the Animal Liberation Hour seeks to offer nuanced perspectives, diverse stories, and encourage critical thinking when strategizing our outreach to create a compassionate world.
Season 1 of the podcast kicked off earlier this month and will host a variety of guests- from an undercover investigator, to a vegan veterinarian! A new episode is released every Monday- a perfect Monday morning motivation to combat the typical Monday morning blues! You can find The Animal Liberation Hour on your favorite podcasts platforms- Apple, Spotify, Google, YouTube, and Stitcher.
