This Fall, Daily Harvest is taking care of teachers who are inspiring the next generation of fruit + veggie lovers by:
- Funding teachers: DH is partnering with non-profit DonorsChoose to match donations up to $50,000 to teachers across the US with projects focused on health, wellness, and nutrition.
- Fueling teachers:We’re sending teachers complimentary DH to keep them nourished as they head back to school IRL. We’re also kicking off an Instagram giveaway on 8/18, where you can nominate a teacher for achance to stock them (and yourself) up with a year’s supply of Daily Harvest!
- Celebrating teachers: We’re taking over the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame and highlighting teachers with their own stars, which will be unveiled on August 20th as our incredible teachers head back to school.
On top of Daily Harvest making teacher’s lives sweeter, they’re launching two new flavors that will also help you get back into your fitness routine while satisfying your sweet tooth!
- Enter: Banana + Almond. Tastes like nut butter-swirled banana bread and features:
- 15 grams of plant-based protein thanks to flax seeds, ground almonds, and nut butter made only from hazelnuts, cashews, almonds, and sunflower seeds.
- Maca, an ancient Peruvian adaptogen known to boost endurance, stamina and energy levels for supercharged workouts (or long work days).
- Perfectly ripe bananas packed with potassium and fast-acting carbs that help your muscles recover faster, so you can get back into the swing of things sooner.
Summer’s over but still looking for an (immune-boosting) tropical vacation?
- Enter: Passion Fruit + Pineapple. Tastes like a mango piña colada and features:
- Soursop, a prickly green fruit native to the tropical regions of the Americas and Caribbean. This powerhouse is high in vitamin C + antioxidants, which can help boost the immune system and may fight inflammation to lower the risk of chronic disease.
- Passion fruit, banana, ripe pineapple, and camu camu (one of the world’s most vitamin C-rich foods) round out this perfectly sweet-tart concoction that you’ll want to pop a paper umbrella in.
