In honor of Earth Day, Eat Just and Volta Charging have teamed up for a unique and eye-catching ad campaign. For the next month, shoppers at select Whole Foods Market, Albertsons, Safeway, and Vons may see dynamic JUST Egg ads outside of the popular grocery stores on Volta-operated EV charging stations.
The 55-inch digital displays will engage shoppers right outside store entrances, but there is more to these ads than increasing purchase intent. Along with raising awareness and interest in JUST Egg, Eat Just is also hoping to educate consumers on why they should choose an egg that’s better for them and better for the planet.
“At Eat Just, we believe making it easier to eat well means a sustained commitment to our planet – yesterday, today, and every day after. It also means finding creative and impactful ways to raise awareness about JUST Egg, America’s top-selling egg brand, which happens to be made of plants”.
To date, Eat Just has sold the JUST Egg equivalent of 100 million eggs, adding up to 3.6 billion gallons of water saved and the equivalent of taking over 3,000 cars off the road for a whole year. In fact, compared to conventional animal sources, JUST Egg uses 98% less water, has a 93% smaller carbon footprint, and uses 86% less land, making it one of the most sustainable protein sources on the planet.
