The plant-based kebab pop-up will take over The Munch in Shoreditch on Thursday 16 June
If ever there was a sign that the plant-based movement has made it mainstream, here it is. One of Britain’s most beloved takeaways, and the last dish anyone expected to go plant-based – the kebab – is finally getting the meat-free treatment it deserves!
On Thursday 16 June, plant-based brand Dopsu is set to dish out FREE kebabs at its cool with a capital ‘K’ plant-based kebab pop-up in Shoreditch: Kebab à la Karte. The one day only event will give Londoners the chance to sink their teeth into a delicious, plant-based kebab in the company of host Fred Sirieix, while a live DJ cooks up bangers on the decks.
Fred Sirieix says: “People are looking for ways to cut down on meat, and now even the kebab is getting a plant-based makeover. I can’t wait for Londoners to come down to Kebab à la Karte and meet the Dopsu meat-free kebab!”
Fred will be firing up the grill at The Munch, which will be taken over by Kebab à la Karte from 11am to 3pm on Thursday 16 June, and serving Dopsu’s delicious FREE (and meat-free!) kebabs while supplies last. And with only 6% of Brits claiming to have ever tried a plant-based kebab before, this is a pop-up not to be missed!
