Australian author Kathy Divine’s latest title offers disillusioned voters some much-needed hope and lights a fire under vegan changemakers to step into leadership roles and political positions.
If 2020 and all of its disruption, tragedy and questionable leadership doesn’t wake us up, nothing will. This year has tested who’s got the goods to guide us through it, and who needs to quit and make way for leaders who have what’s required.
There’s never been a more urgent time to get the right people in place to help us navigate the pandemics, social justice issues, climate change and whatever else might be coming around the global corner.
Enter Golden Age Politics: Inspired, Ethical Politics for a Peaceful, Thriving World.
What is ‘Golden Age Politics’? It’s ethical politics. Peace politics. All tied together in an uplifting new book by renowned vegan author and publisher Kathy Divine.
This is a book of ideas to ignite the hope of disillusioned voters and inspire vegan leaders, particularly women or others who embody the feminine principles of kindness and compassion, to consider how they can create a difference in this world and start developing their ideas about how politics could be, if it was honest and ethical.
Australian-based Divine – who held the world’s first vegan women’s leadership conference in 2018 – wrote the book for people who are not usually into politics. “Environmental destruction, exploitation of people and abhorrent cruelty to animals are the bedrock of patriarchal governments today and this has to change.”, says Divine.
“Understandably, many people feel disillusioned with politics and our so-called leaders, but things will only change when passionate, positive vegan changemakers are willing to take the reins. This book is a big call out in particular to female vegan leaders, to rise up into influential positions so they can help create thriving economies with happy, healthy populations across the world.”
The new book by the author of the bestselling titles Plant Powered Women and Plant Powered Men lays out a framework for the reorganisation of policy across all major portfolios in a way that will capture the imagination of even the most apathetic, politically unengaged person and re-inspire weary change makers.
“We need to support ethical candidates and leaders, and vote carefully and consciously,” says Divine.
This unique, concise, easy-to-read, six-chapter book looks at the rise of plant-based business as the future driver of economic prosperity with interviews and comments from leaders in this field, as an illustration of how fast the business environment has and is changing.
Golden Age Politics delicately and effectively melds spiritual and ethical principles with political policy and leadership principles referencing both great spiritual and political leaders in history and emerging leaders across the globe.
The book also includes a chapter about the merits of matriarchal global leadership, with interviews and quotes from vegan women who are leaders in their fields.
