CHOCOLATE ALMOND MILK
1/8 cup almonds, lightly roasted
20 fl. oz. water
Pinch of sea salt (omit if you’re using salted almonds)
1-2 Tbsp. maple syrup or agave, as desired
1-2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder, as desired
Make almond milk in the MILKMADE according to directions. While milk is still hot, add the salt, sweetener, and cocoa powder. Stir until completely combined. Taste and adjust as desired. Allow milk to cool down slightly before refrigerating.
SHACHAR’S DECADENT NO-BAKE COOKIES
105 tea biscuits
1 cup non-dairy soy milk
1 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 cup sugar
½ lb. margarine
Directions:
Crush cookies until very fine. Stir in margarine, cocoa, and sugar. Add the non-dairy milk and mix very well.
Roll dough into balls. Place into lined muffin tins and refrigerate overnight.
Optional – Roll balls in chopped nuts, sprinkles, or the topping of your choice before refrigerating.
BLUEBERRY POWER SMOOTHIE
½ cup frozen blueberries
½ banana
½ cup almond milk
1 tsp. ground flax seeds
½ cup water
15 g. protein powder
Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Optional: add ice cubes for a frostier drink.
