As a part of our Athlete issue, we’re happy to share the top vegan protein bars that keep us fueled and growing plant-based, sustainable muscle!
No Cow Bars:
All of No Cow bars are Dairy Free, have 20-21g Plant Protein, 1g Sugar, 16g Fiber, and around 200 Calories. We have always chosen No Cow as our go-to bar with their high quality ingredients and for being Certified Gluten-Free, Kosher, Non-GMO Project Verified, and soy free. The base of their bars are pea and rice protein, stevia, and monk fruit.
Our current favorite flavor is their Birthday Cake bar that lets us celebrate every day! It has the flavor of sweet cake and a nice soft crunch of sprinkles. All we need are some candles to blow out on top to wish for more! 😉
88 Acres:
Among their seed butters and bars, 88 Acres makes their protein bars from simple ingredients, using the power of pumpkin seeds as the protein source.
Our favorite flavor out of their two protein bar line is the Banana Bread Bar with that has a taste of freshly baked banana bread using simple ingredients like organic Pumpkin Seeds, Banana, Maple Syrup, Brown Rice Syrup, Sea Salt, Organic Cinnamon, and Organic Expeller Pressed Sunflower Oil.
One Brand Bar:
ONE Brands has extended their plant-based protein bars, ONE PLANT, which now features Banana Nut Bread, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Churro and Carrot Cake flavors. Made with high-quality ingredients, each ONE PLANT bar provides 12 grams of plant protein and only 1 gram of sugar—making them a guilt-free indulgence for on-the-go fuel. The line bring superior taste and texture into plant-based snacking.
All of the flavors taste as though they are wrapped in a creamy yogurt, while remaining completely plant-based! Our personal favorite is their Churro Flavor for the subtle sweetness and spicy cinnamon!
Soylent:
These Square Bars are new to Soylent’s lineup! Though they’re smaller than most protein bars, they were made as “mini-meals” to enjoy on the go.
Many nutrition bars are high in sugar, use less sustainable animal-derived protein and often lack the nutrients that your body needs to thrive. Soylent Squared contains a balance of macronutrients combined with 36 essential nutrients, including 26 vitamins and minerals, 9 amino acids, 2 essential fatty acids, including omega-3 and omega-6.
We especially love the Citrus Berry Squared Bar for its bright & fruity serving of perfectly portioned nutrition. All of the squared bars are designed to give our bodies what they need for snack time. They also have two other flavors: Chocolate Brownie and Salted Caramel, each with 100 calories and 5g of plant protein, 36 essential nutrients, and probiotics for digestive health. Have 1 to 2 for a healthy snack, or 3 to 4 for a complete meal.
Kashi Go:
We all need some crunch in our life! We find ourselves reaching for these Crunchy Peanut Butter protein bars that Kashi just released earlier this year. With real peanut chunks mixed with peanut butter, this hits the creamy to crunchy ratio we’re all about. Their peanut butter flavor is among two others in their protein bar line up, along with Chocolate + Almond and Dark Chocolate + Peanut Butter. Each flavor contains 12 grams of plant-based protein and 6 grams of sugar, these Non-GMO Project Verified bars keep the vibes high and the good times coming.
