JUST Egg announced their latest pro athlete ambassador: Arizona Cardinals and 2022 NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Kyler Murray for last weekend’s big game against the Seahawks.
After the success of JUST Egg’s popup outside of State Farm Stadium last weekend, the celebration continued with the partnership with star quarterback Kyler Murray yesterday, Monday, January 17th.
This time, Kyler and JUST Egg have collaborated with The Lola, McFaddens (both in the Westgate Entertainment District), and The Ainsworth (downtown) to offer The Kyler. This sandwich will be given to customers at these three restaurants for free every time the Cardinals score a touchdown during their Monday night playoff game, while supplies last. The sandwich will consist of JUST Egg Folded, a hash brown and Bitchin’ Sauce on a toasted English muffin – the same stack that fans enjoyed last weekend.
The Heisman Trophy-winner stars in an eye-catching billboard blitz for the plant-based brand currently on display around the Westgate Entertainment District and along Highway 101. Locals who want to taste Kyler’s favorite protein-packed breakfast can get free JUST Egg sandwiches from The Lola onsite at Westgate this Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 8-9 (details below).
JUST Egg, America’s fastest-growing egg brand, has become a go-to for a growing number of athletes in the past year as the sports world sees a decline in junk food partnerships and the rise of plant-based endorsements, which better reflect athletes’ performance-focused diets. Kyler, like millions of consumers, is taking incremental but meaningful steps to improve his health and the health of the planet. One simple yet delicious change is starting his mornings with JUST Egg in lieu of conventional eggs.
Murray’s family of athletes always prioritized nutrition for optimal performance on game day. “I am happy to be partnered with JUST Egg to continue on my traditions of finding good and healthy food options that taste good and can fuel my performance,” the quarterback says. Murray also incorporates his Korean heritage into his diet wherever possible.
JUST Egg’s activation with Kyler-approved sandwiches from The Lola on Saturday, Jan. 8 in Fountain Park and Sunday, Jan. 9 in Water Dance Plaza was a huge success. Fans took photos with a Kyler cut-out to memorialize the moment they tried #ReallyGoodEggs and entered to win a Kyler Murray signed football.
