Known as the Vegan Time Machine, the dynamic brother-sister vegan duo, Ashera and Courtney, have set out to take people to the future filled with compassion, kindness, and lots of delicious food that also happens to be good for the body and mind.
The sibling’s journey started when brother Courtney was forced to make a drastic life change due to his alarming health in 2018. After being diagnosed with Ulcer Colitis and being put on a liquid diet by his doctor, Courtney only became worse.
After getting a colonoscopy done and being later diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, he was forced to be put on medication that his body had an allergic reaction to. From there, he tried going pescatarian, but did not see much improvement through that diet either.

Courtney began to do his own research and decided to go vegan to heal himself. Returning to his doctor, after stopping taking the harmful medication, to confirm that his sickness was over, the doctor could not understand how he was doing better with no medication at all. Thinking that they may have misdiagnosed him, the doctor tried to suggest more medication, while Courtney and his family then knew, it was the food that was the problem all along.
Despite what his doctor projected, there were never any drugs, tobacco, or alcohol in Courtney’s life, but simply the standard American diet.

It was Veganism that he needed to change his life for the better.
Now Ashera and Courtney are on a mission to not only serve delicious healthier alternatives to their Dallas, Texas community, but to educate and help one maintain a healthier lifestyle.
Making unique homestyle creations, like their Space Pudding —an organic, vegan take on the classic Southern Banana Pudding — and even their “Ant Burger” in memory of their cousin, Anthony that passed of Diabetes. They believe that if he was able to go vegan and eat their healing food, he would still be around today.
To ensure that their food continues to heal people from the inside out, The Vegan Time Machine’s food is filled with superfoods like turmeric that is in their “Special Sauce” for inflammation and sweet onion for lowering blood sugar levels, two of many ideal ingredients for fueling people with proper nutrition, even with special dietary needs.
