Before the end of summer 2020, a brand new culinary institution––which just so happens to be completely vegan-based–-will be opening in Boulder, Colorado.
Called the Vegan Fusion Culinary Academy and operated by the award-winning plant-based chef Mark Reinfeld, the new culinary school plans to train a new generation of vegan chefs in one of the fastest-growing categories in the food industry.
On the academy’s official website, they state: “Our goal is to provide a comprehensive, hands-on culinary education combining the latest skills, techniques, and equipment with time-tested methodologies to create stellar vegan and raw cuisine.”
The Vegan Fusion Culinary Academy has applied to the state of colorado to become the very first accredited vegan culinary school in the United States. It plans to offer three various programs, which include a full-time course, a two-day or five-day option, and a workshop immersion-style evening class available for home-based cooks.
As part of the vegan culinary school’s program, it will feature guest instructors––who are big names in the vegan industry––such as Miyoko Schinner, Fran Costigan, Ron Pickarski, Dreena Burton, and JL Fields.
As a part of the Vegan Fusion Culinary Academy’s growth initiatives, it will host professional events, educational workshops, and community events.
