The 100% Plant-Based, 1st Certified Organic Fast-Casual Restaurant in North America, Fruitive commits to making sure families and frontline workers still have access to healthy meals and other essentials by offering essential add-ons, like toilet paper, gloves, paper towels, trash bags and more – free of any additional charges.
The Frutitive team has been offering free avocado toast, their #1 seller, to all frontline healthcare workers and emergency responders, including police, EMT, nurses and doctors, and will continue to until May 15th.
“We have enjoyed providing healthy food to those working on the frontlines, states Fruitive’s founder, Gregg Rozeboom. “We’re always looking to do our part to help them. Its’ great to see them come pick up their avocado toast and other healthy staples to fuel their days.”
They’re also offering meal kits to local families, like their popular Sesame Ginger Soup kit.
Rozeboom shares the other ways his team is working to help their community remain healthy right now, “One of the most exciting things we have done in the last few weeks is put together our plant based pop-up market. We took all of the ingredients we had, packaged them, and took the unused table and container space we had to prepare for the local residents to take advantage of!”
The Fruitive team sources as much produce as they can from local farmer’s markets in hopes to act as a facilitator for local farmers, so their produce can reach customers every week!
Of the 5 locations, Fruitive will be opening up their Dupont Circle location again after a month of being closed, due to COVID.
