When Covid-19 hit, Million Dollar Vegan, a global nonprofit dedicated to educating people about the environmental, ethical, personal, and public health benefits of adopting a plant-based lifestyle, set out on a mission to deliver at least 1 Million Meals as part of an ongoing initiative to #TAKE PANDEMICS OFF THE MENU, and this December 30th they will be doing a big food giveaway event in Los Angeles during which dozens of volunteers will cycle across the city to deliver 1,000 hot meals to hospital workers, homeless shelters, and underserved families.
The group will be chaperoned by cycling company Bikes & Hikes LA, who are located at 8500 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood where the group will bemeeting in the parking lot between 2pm and 3pm, with a 3pm departure. There will be 20 cyclist, in addition to support vehicles, drones, and an LED Billboard truck featuring messages from famous supporters. Strict mask/glove wearing and 6ft social distancing parameters will be in place for this donation ride.
