It can be hard to find something vegan-friendly to watch. Sure there are plenty of articles claiming to have a list of the “top 10 vegan movies,” but they’re all different and subjective.
It’s often that they don’t link to where you can easily watch a movie, or the links are typically broken, or the site doesn’t include the trailer so we can decide if we want to watch it. Some movies can even be pretty hard to find because they were released decades ago. And who wouldn’t want the option of having a warning if there’s graphic content that we may get triggered by?
VegMovies founder Jason Schramm realized that there are many plant-based, animal-friendly and vegan-friendly movies out in the world, and no easy way to search through all of them to find something meaningful to watch. He set out to create such a place.
On VegMovies, viewers will find movie listings that are categorized and detailed. Each listing will have a button to watch the trailer without having to leave the site (for those that include trailers). There are warnings if the trailer or movie itself has any graphic content, along with descriptions of the content so you can decide if you want to watch it or not. The option to watch or buy the movie is available along with specific links based on your location (for the US, UK, and Canada).
If you wanted to host a screening, VegMovies has the option based on availability and location as well. For inspiration and more insights on each film, VegMovies provides testimonials from people whose lives were positively changed by the movie as well.
